JAI DOG RESCUE

CASE STUDY
Role: Creative Director

Project Overview

The Jai Dog Rescue project was an initiative aimed at enhancing the organization’s digital presence and expanding its international reach to boost adoptions and donations. As the Creative Director, my goal was to create an emotionally engaging yet highly functional online platform to raise awareness about the plight of stray dogs in Thailand. The project involved a full redesign of their website, content creation for social media, and the development of a cohesive visual identity to support their mission.

My Role

As the Creative Director, I was responsible for overseeing the entire creative vision of the project, from concept development to execution. My responsibilities included:

🐾 Website redesign: I led the design and development of a new, user-friendly website that integrated multimedia content and simplified the adoption and donation processes.
🐾 Brand identity: I refined Jai Dog Rescue’s visual branding to ensure consistency across all touchpoints, including logos, color schemes, and typography.
🐾 Content strategy: I managed the creation of blog articles, social media posts, and email newsletters to raise awareness about Jai Dog Rescue’s work.
🐾 User experience (UX) design: I worked closely with developers to ensure the site was intuitive and accessible, with a focus on guiding users through the adoption process.
🐾 Digital marketing: I played a key role in developing digital marketing campaigns, targeting both local and international audiences.

Goals

🐾 Raise awareness about the stray dog crisis in Thailand.
🐾 Increase international adoptions.
🐾 Boost online donations.

Challenges

🐾 Low international awareness: Despite their impactful work, Jai Dog Rescue struggled to connect with international audiences, limiting adoption opportunities and donations.
🐾 Complex adoption process: The existing website made it difficult for potential adopters to understand the adoption process, leading to drop-offs in interest.
🐾 Outdated digital infrastructure: The original website was not mobile-responsive, had slow load times, and lacked modern functionalities like donation tracking or user-friendly adoption forms.
🐾 Brand inconsistency: The organization’s visual identity was fragmented across platforms, making it harder to build trust and recognition among potential donors and adopters.

Strategy & Execution

🐾 Research & Brand Refinement: I began by conducting a comprehensive brand audit and competitor analysis. This helped identify gaps in Jai Dog Rescue’s current online strategy and defined the tone and visuals that would resonate with both local and global audiences.
🐾 Website Redesign: The website needed a complete overhaul to improve both aesthetics and functionality. I worked with a development team to redesign the whole site, integrate testimonials from volunteers and adopters, add vivid photography of the rescued dogs and make the site mobile responsive.
🐾 Content Creation & Social Media Strategy: I developed a content strategy that emphasized storytelling and engaging social media content.
🐾 Digital Marketing & SEO: I executed targeted ad campaigns using Google Ads and Meta Business Suite, with a focus on driving traffic to the website’s donation page and adoption profiles. SEO best practices were implemented to ensure Jai Dog Rescue ranked higher in search results related to animal rescue and international adoptions, especially in target countries like the US, Canada, and the UK.

Results

🐾 35% increase in international adoptions within 1 year.
🐾 45% increase in donations compared to the previous quarter.
🐾 37% boost in social media engagement.
🐾 More than 100% increase in site traffic within 6 months.
